With a charming ambiance and an inviting outdoor seating area, this eatery offers an escape from the bustling tourist path. O' Munaciello stands out for its exceptional Italian cuisine, a celebration of fresh ingredients, and a menu that highlights traditional flavors infused with modern creativity.
While the restaurant maintains a modest rating of 3.8 stars, this hardly reflects the culinary delights that await. Guests like Hayley rave about the pasta, calling it "the tastiest I've ever eaten." This sentiment echoes throughout numerous reviews, emphasizing the quality and richness of the dishes. Every meal at O' Munaciello is prepared with care, showcasing vibrant flavors that truly capture the essence of Neapolitan cuisine.
The pizza here is another standout, with patrons like Richard Knight declaring it some of the best they have ever enjoyed in Naples. The Diavola and Carrettiera pizzas come highly recommended, boasting a beautifully charred crust and an explosion of toppings that delight the palate. Even those with dietary restrictions can find joy at O' Munaciello, as Baz notes the amazing gluten-free pizza that left a lasting impression.

There's something to be said about sitting back, sipping on a drink, and watching the world go by as you await your meal.
In essence, O' Munaciello is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience—a fusion of tradition and modernity that celebrates the joy of Italian dining. Whether you’re here for the pasta, the pizza, or simply to soak in the ambiance of Naples, O' Munaciello undeniably deserves a spot on your culinary itinerary.
“ Not sure how this place only has 3.8 stars, it feels unjust. The pasta was the tastiest I’ve ever eaten. Staff attentive but not pushy. Everyone enjoyed their meals, prices very good and a nice location just away from the busy tourist street. ”
“ Food was very good. Service from the waiters was also excellent. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Would definitely come back if I return to Naples. ”
“ Eatery in a busy piazza. It was late lunch, seated immediately but then not served for a bit. Lots of outdoor seating. The piazza was very busy and noisy. We ordered the Diavola and the Carrettiera. Great flavor to the crust and toppings. The crust was somewhat difficult to saw through with the dull knife provided. Table was shaking for sure. ”
“ Amazing gluten free pizza. Did it for me to takeaway as it was for my partner that was housebound. I had to share it because it was so good. One of the best if not THE best gluten free pizzas I've ever tasted. Thank you for catering for allergen intolerant people. I can highly recommend this place and the restaurant looked great too so hopefully we can visit again and eat at the restaurant. ”
“ Pizza was banging. Probably the best I had in Naples personally and very cheap. Pizza in photo was £8 Euro. Service was slow and forgot our starters which didn’t matter as enjoyed sitting down and watching world go by. Plus the pizza made up for it. Before we had a chance to open our wallet the waiter was demanding a tip, despite messing orders up They do take away pizza also. I would recommend this place when in Naples especially as food wise I found it a minefield. But the pizza here was great. ”
